- All boxes open along the length (first dimension) and have glued seams
- Meets ASTM D5118 specifications
- 200# test boxes have 60% stronger bursting strength and are recommended by UPS for shipping up to 40 lbs
- 32 ECT boxes are recommended by UPS for shipping up to 30 lbs
- Pound test refers to bursting strength, while ECT refers to stacking strength
- Box strength guidelines:
- 32 ECT single wall: 65 lbs maximum weight per box
- 200# single wall: 65 lbs maximum weight per box (recommended by UPS for shipping up to 40 lbs)
- 275# single wall: 95 lbs maximum weight per box (recommended by UPS for shipping up to 65 lbs)
- 350# single wall: 120 lbs maximum weight per box (recommended by UPS for shipping up to 80 lbs)
- 200# double wall: 80 lbs maximum weight per box (recommended by UPS for shipping up to 60 lbs)
- 275# double wall: 100 lbs maximum weight per box (recommended by UPS for shipping up to 80 lbs)
- 350# double wall: 120 lbs maximum weight per box (recommended by UPS for shipping up to 100 lbs)
- 500# double wall: 160 lbs maximum weight per box (recommended by UPS for shipping up to 140 lbs)
