- SPECIFICATIONS: Meets ASTM D5118 standards.
- TERMINOLOGY: Understand the difference between 200# Test and 32 ECT (Edge Crush Test). 200# Test boxes have 60% stronger bursting strength and are recommended by UPS for shipping up to 40 lbs. 32 ECT boxes are recommended by UPS for shipping up to 30 lbs.
- BOX STRENGTH GUIDELINES: Follow the maximum weight per box guidelines according to the Fiber Box Handbook and UPS guidelines. For example: 32 ECT Single Wall boxes can hold up to 65 lbs according to the Fiber Box Handbook and 30 lbs according to UPS guidelines.
